On February 19th 2013, MCDC Board President Saul Fernandez and MCDC Executive Director Raul E. Perez met with Representative Poncho Nevarez and Senator Carlos Uresti at the State Capitol in Austin, Texas.

Maverick County Development Corporation participated at the Texas Legislative Day to promote business development and economic investment in Eagle Pass and Maverick County. Mr. Saul Fernandez and Mr. Raul Perez experienced a successful visit to the Texas Capitol were they met with our State Officials, and agreed to joint efforts with elected officials and private sector to achieve common goals and bring benefits towards the city and county’s citizens.
