The Eagle Pass location is the site where O.F. Mossberg & Sons shotguns and hunting rifles are produced. In 2007, Maverick Arms expanded its Eagle Pass facility to 85,000 square feet.

This presentation was made at the Defense Logistics Agency Business Alliance Awards Program held January 28, 2009 in Springfield, Virginia. Medical Products Ltd, Inc. is a producer of specialty medical products for the forensic medicine and orthopedics fields. They operate a 20,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Eagle Pass employing fifty persons. The company is a prime contractor for the Human Remains Pouches supplied to the United States Department of Defense.
Kunafin "The Insectary" produces various insects that benefit agriculture. This service assists all types and levels of agriculture varying from the large cattle operations to our own backyard gardens. This unique and beneficial type of business is locally owned and operated by Frank and Adela Junfin of Eagle Pass. In 2009, Kunafin is commemorating its 50th Anniversary in operations. Kunafin is also celebrating its 10th Anniversary of participation in the State of Texas Department of Agriculture GoTexas Marketing Program.
Intrex Global Systems operates in the Maverick County Industrial Park. This local manufacturing company fabricates the sensors that are attached to the automotive air bag systems. Since their establishment in Maverick County in 2004, the company has grown to employ 135 persons.
