This March the 7th and 8th, MCDC President Saul Fernandez attended the 2nd Annual
Eagle Ford Consortium Conference in San Antonio, Tx. He took some time to meet with
Congressman Pete Gallegos to discuss important topics that relate with our local community.

On February 19th 2013, MCDC Board President Saul Fernandez and MCDC Executive Director Raul E. Perez met with Representative Poncho Nevarez and Senator Carlos Uresti at the State Capitol in Austin, Texas.
MCDC Appoints Board Members for 2013-2014 Year

Maverick County Development Corporation appointed four board members for the 2013-2014 year. Appointed members to the MCDC Board of Directors were Oscar de los Santos, Rudy Rodriguez, Jesus Gutierrez & Jose “Pepe” Aranda meeting was held in February 14, 2013 at MCDC Building.
MCDC Annual Meeting
The Maverick County Development Corporation held their Annual Meeting January 17, 2013. Installation of the new MCDC Board Members 2013-2016 were: Ms. Sonia Shannon, Mr. Dennis Charlton and Mr. Werner Johnson. Recognition of Board of Directors who served 2010-2013 were Mr. John Salazar, Mr. Dennis Charlton & Sonia Shannon.
MCDC Board Members participated at the Ancira Chrysler Dodge of Eagle Pass breaks ground

Longtime businessman, successful car dealer and entrepreneur Ernesto Ancira was in Eagle Pass on Wednesday to break ground on their fourteenth dealership in the state of Texas, a $9 million investment in the future of Eagle Pass, Maverick County and South Texas which will offer South Texans a closer place to shop for a greater variety of personal vehicles right in their own back yard.
