14th Annual Ports to Plains Alliance Conference

MCDC Executive Director, Raul E. Perez, and MCDC Treasurer, Sonia Shannon, attended the 14th Annual Ports to Plains Alliance Conference in San Angelo, Texas held on October 19-21, 2011.
Keynote Presenter:
State Representative Drew Darby(R-Texas)
A native of San Angelo, was elected to the Texas House of Representatives for House District 72 in 2006. He is serving his third term on the House Committee on Apropriations, charing the sub-committee on Natural Resources, Business & Economic Development and Regulatory agencies. He also serves as the vice-chairman of the House Committee on Transportation, as well as serving on the State Sovereignty and the Local and Consent Calendars Committees. He is a graduate of the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, majoring in Finance and a minor in Accounting. He holds a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Texas.
